Who We Are

In 1975 George Jackson Plumbing was opened by our founder, George Edward Jackson. George worked for his mentor Emerson Elzey for 15 years, learning many skills and values we still hold true today. Once Emerson retired, he allowed George to carry on his company in a new name. George operated the business with the help of his wife and daughter for 26 years before letting his grandson, Derek, start managing the company in 2001. On January 1^st 2005, Derek was gained ownership of the company. Two and a half months later, on March 21^st George passed away. For 23 years Derek ran the company by himself, sometimes having a few employees. Then, on January 1^st 2024, Derek asked his daughter, Alyssa, if she would like to carry on the company to which she agreed.

We are proud to carry forward the values instilled by our founder, George Edward Jackson, who not only built a business but a community around trust and kindness. His legacy lives on in every service we provide, reflecting the same generosity and dedication to our neighbors that George learned from his mentor, Emerson Elzey.
